June 2015

It is with a deep sense of loss that the Fasset family join the Mapaya family in mourning a tragic and unexpected passing of your beloved son, husband, and brother Mathumo Mapaya. Mathumo joined Fasset as a board member in 2013 and also served on out Audit and Risk Committee. His enthusiasm was felt by many on the board, right from the day he attended the first board meeting. Mathumo's commitment to Fasset and skills development was unquestionable. Mathumo played an instrumental role in facilitating the involvement of his firm KPMG in the Fasset TVET Work-Based Experience project. He has played an active role in encouraging learners to participate in Fasset events. Mathumo's contribution in the profession generally and in Fasset in particular will be sorely missed. With a very heavy heart, we have to bid this beloved son of the soil farewell. Hamba kahle Qhawe!
