  • Hi, my name is Jessica Siphiwe and I am in my 3rd year of a Beam accounting degree at Rhodes University. Coming from a challenging background of 6 siblings raised by a single parent, finances at home were very limited thus, obtaining the Fasset bursary was the best thing to happen to me in 2018.
  • My name is Lethabo Semetsi and I am a proud beneficiary of the FASSET Bursary. Before I was on the FASSET Bursary, my fees were being paid for by my father who could only afford to get me through my first year of studies.
  • I have always dreamt of having a Commerce degree, but due to lack of funding it looked like this would be unobtainable. When I was told about FASSET I felt a glimpse of hope; I applied and was awarded the funding.
  • My name is Yolande, a student at Rhodes University studying towards a Beam degree. In 2018, a friend told me about the FASSET funded bursary and advised that I should apply for it. My application was successfully approved and all the perks of being a beneficiary began to unfold.
