The Thusanani programme started last Monday! One hundred and twenty six learners started their 12 week work readiness programme on the Soweto campus of the University of Johannesburg. Learners are eager to find their place within the world of work! Group work and mentoring sessions have started – the integrated assessment modules will be followed with great interest. Projects will be show cased at the trade fair which is scheduled for the 14th of May, 2009.
Students will be on the UJ island for 3 days at the end of March – a first island visit for most.... the boat trip across will be a highlight!
These top of the crop graduates will be ready for placement at the end of May – there is no placement fee involved!
