Fasset no longer accepts applications for single unit standards, but providers may submit an application to deliver and assess specified skills programmes (refer to the application form and guidelines).
The unit standards within Fasset’s scope of accreditation are associated with qualifications registered on the NQF. The majority of these qualifications are currently being converted into the QCTO curriculum-based format. Providers are therefore urged to liaise with Fasset prior to initiating an application.
Accreditation is for training providers wishing to deliver and assess qualifications that fall within Fasset's scope of delegated quality assurance. The majority of finance and accounting qualifications no longer form part of our scope, and provider accreditation for those qualifications is the direct responsibility of an assigned professional body. Both Fasset and the professional bodies are QCTO Quality Assurance Partners (QAPs) responsible for certain quality assurance functions associated with stipulated qualifications.
Please consult the table below to identify the QAP responsible for provider accreditation. Each QAP has its own accreditation criteria, process and form, and providers need to liaise with the relevant body directly.
The Fasset accreditation application form is available here. Applicants are urged to familiarise themselves with the guidelines prior to submission.
Assessors and moderators can submit an application for registration using the Fasset online system.
